In this episode we return to a conversation that the Moolily girls had last summer with Christina’s dear friend and mentor, Shirley Brownhill. As a longtime missions leader and current leader of the YWAM Perth base, Shirley is a woman who has lived her life on an adventure with Jesus, going to the hard places and doing the hard things, while staying soft and kind and rich in the presence of God. As we are unwrapping the topic of friendship, Shirley’s seasoned wisdom on doing community in an intentional way, as well as her sage advice on remaining tender during conflict with others, is profoundly applicable.
